TMG to GEDCOM Version 1.02 Released

This is a maintenance release with minor enhancements and changes. I recommend that all users upgrade to this version.

See the Change Log for more details.

System Templates

This release includes new and updated system templates:

  • Several templates were updated to use a new option for the Flags.Flags property, Export as EVEN/TYPE. This creates flag events where the value is more prominent in the user interface of the target program than it was with the prior setting.
  • Brother's Keeper – This is a new template. Brother's Keeper is a genealogy program by John Steed. (template page)
  • Family Tree Builder – This is a new template. Family Tree Builder is a genealogy application and companion to the MyHeritage online service. If you want to upload a tree to MyHeritage because you have DNA test results there, you can export your TMG data using TMG to GEDCOM, import into Family Tree Builder, and then sync with MyHeritage. (template page)
  • Gramps – This template now clones several Tag Types where Gramps does not allow the resulting event to be shared. (template page)

APID Utilities

The APID Utilities for Ancestry.com have been moved to a new help page: Ancestry APID
